MM Lite Onboarding

Prerequisites

• In order to send a message via MM Lite API, a business phone number must also be registered on Cloud API. If a business phone number is already registered on Cloud API, phone number verification is not required when registering for MM Lite API, as no new phone numbers are registered during the MM Lite API registration process. Existing Phone Numbers remain registered on Cloud API, and will now be eligible to use MM Lite API in addition to and simultaneously with Cloud API for sending marketing messages.
• Phone number must be on Embedded Signup 
• Phone number must be registered via Gupshup Partner Portal or Self serve
• Phone number may or may not be tagged to Solution ID of Tech Provider
• Phone number should not be in the own BM of a Tech Provider

Here are the steps to follow for completing MM Lite onboarding on Gupshup -

THRU EMBEDDED SIGNUP LINK 

1. Click on the onboarding link provided by Gupshup
2. Make sure you login to Facebook via the same BM for which the onboarding is required.
3. You will be redirected to the Embedded Signup flow.
   The Embedded Signup flow allows registration of one BMID at a time. Enrollment is performed at a Business Manager ID (BMID) level, encompassing all WABAs under that BMID.

4. Follow the steps in the Embedded Signup, and give ad related permissions in the flow.
5. Once completed, your BM should now be onboarded to MM lite

THRU INTENT

When you are invited to onboard to MM Lite API via WhatsApp Manager, any admin of your business can onboard easily in the UI.

Step 1) Open the invitation email

All admins of your Business Manager will receive emails with a link to accept the request. Admins can also go directly to the “Requests” tab in Business settings to find the onboarding invitation, by going to the following link:

Step 2) Onboard in Business Settings

In the “Requests” tab of Business settings, review and complete the onboarding flow for MM Lite API.
